Minerals are naturally occurring elements found in the earth, fragmented by erosion, passed from the soil to plants by microbes and then consumed for proper cell function and structure.

Minerals are necessary for proper composition of body fluids, the formation of blood and bone, maintenance of healthy nerve function, and the regulation of muscle tone. They function as coenzymes, enabling energy production, growth, and healing. All enzyme activities involve minerals and therefore are essential for proper utilization of vitamins and other co-factors that maintain proper chemical balance. Because they are stored, primarily, in the bone and muscle tissue, it is possible for mineral toxicities to occur, if large quantities are ingested, as well as deficiencies, if constant and appropriate quantities are not ingested regularly. Mineral deficiencies and toxicities are among the most significant health issues and concerns of today. Mineral deficiencies are common because of the depleted soils used for years of harvesting crops without letting the soil rest and allow the soil to regroup it's mineral levels in a natural process, leaching of the soils by irrigation and erosion, poor dietary habits resulting from the shift toward mineral deficient fast-foods and away from mineral rich raw fruits and vegetables. Minerals are grouped into two categories:
Bulk Minerals (Macro-minerals), because they are needed in larger quantities and include calcium, magnesium, sodium, potassium, phosphorus.
Trace Minerals (Micro-minerals), which are needed in smaller amounts, but are equally as important for good health and proper body function and include boron, chromium, copper, germanium, iodine, iron, manganese, molybdenium, selenium, silicon, sulfur, vanadium, and zinc.
NOTE: It is strongly recommended that you supplement daily with good quality, natural multi mineral supplements to help replace the needed minerals that are lost due to natural processes and chelation. The EDTA in Kelatox will bind with some essential minerals, but at a much slower rate than toxic heavy metals. Your body will breakdown and utilize essential minerals such as Iron, Zinc and Magnesium, but not toxic heavy metals that it doesn't have any use for. The makers of Kelatox feel that since the EDTA can only bind with what it finds, they do not feel that it will deplete essential minerals from your body as long as you supplement on a regular basis.
I recommend taking the Spectramin Chelate formula to meet those needs. I also recommend taking these mineral supplements at least 8 hours after inserting the Kelatox chelation morning program to give your body time to breakdown and utilize the minerals, before any EDTA has a chance to bind with them.
If you are not doing the Kelatox chelation morningt time program and feel you want a good daily mineral supplement, then I would recommend the
Spectramin Chelate formula only.
